Ballot-box deceptions

Nothing NuLabour gets up to should surprise.

Rotten to the core, at least I have a clear conscience and have never voted for them:)

So, when the results show a large loss of seats for Labour (which it will), you won't believe it then?

I am not sure why exactly, I could easily stand round the corner form a polling booth and give people fivers if they promise to vote for so and so a party or go on and on at people I know persuading them to vote one way.......

I could also go into every polling station in the country and cast a vote. I can be registered in several places etc etc etc

BTW It is also possible to find out how someone has voted - even though it is supposed to be "secret"

From what I could find on the Net, it appears they are a tiny party comprised essentially of Kashmiris in the Birmingham area. Their focus seems predominantly that of a free Kashmir (internationally) and separate education for girls (domestically).

    People's Justice Party

Hmmm, the more I here about it the more it does appear there has been some serious abuse.

To be fair there were alwas going to be teething problems, I don't think it invalidates the concept as awhole, just shows it needs to be monitored more closely, also the police seem to be on to any wrongdoing pretty quickly, they seem to be prepared........

    Why was it attempted?

The choice of region NW mainly , suggests an anti-BNP stategy ( I don't think NuLabour would do anything for the benefit of the voting public generally)

The allegiances of particularly Asians seem to be more manipulatable by Community Elders, maybe NuLabour were aware of that

In response to an earlier questoin, if NuLabour drop seats (Ihope they do)I hope there's lots of awkward legal challenges to the results with re-elections if need be

    So patronising aren't you?

How on earth was it 'NW mainly', are Yorkshire and the E.midlands in the NW?

How is it for the benefit of the voting public to encourage higher voter turnout to see off the BNP, quite the opposite I would say.......

    patronising, moi?

Anything that would foul up BNP prospects would be considered

I don't know why it was attempted, I'd expect the worst of motives from Labour

Now, don't lets get the thread closed won by Jade before the results are through! :D

Was guessing at a response in general, sorry to offend so much.....

I do not think parties who have no respect for subsections of the populations of this nation, something which is fundamentally undemocratic, should be able to hide behind the democracy themselves.

Why is undemocratic to and increase voter turnout precisely?
