Is there any way that can block my dad from going on websites of, shall we say, an adult nature without him knowing? Because its slowly but surely knackering my pc with the adware/spyware/malware we get from them. Because I was the one who put the computer into areas in down as the administrator and can access all of the pc, so I was wondering if I can do this to try and put a stop to it.
And I have asked him to stop it and he said no. So I think I need a better solution.
Any help would be appreciated

Anyway, if the way described above isn't perfect (I've never tried it), you can find some programs at www.download.com . Try searching for "parental control", "block sites" etc.
I dont understand
Yes, your best bet is going to be content control/ parental controls or a firewall with an internet filter.
Do a google.
By the way if you are admin on the box and he just has a "restricted user" account then nothing should be able to install itself.
Oh, and set high security settings for the internet zone.
You mentioned it in your opening post - Spyware and malware. If IE browses on a porno site, the code on that site can take advantage of IE's weakneses and install spyware without your consent.
Without getting too technical, Firefox (as mentioned by Placebo) and Mozilla doesn't have those weakneses. Mozilla/Firefox can also block pop-ups.
is it jst me or is spyware / virus infection getting overwhelming?
I wouldn't know I use firefox. Not foolproof but better than IE by miles!
