it depends on why she is shy. if she is unhappy with her looks then compliment her, make her feel special. tell her that she is attractive and tell her all of the good things about her, make her feeel special.

she may be shy cos she hasnt had many boyfriends? either way just give it some time and she will become more relaxed around you. how long have you known her? how long have you been going out with her?

When you say she is shy? what sort of shyness? like in a sexual way or just as personality?

Being patient is a good key to make her feel comfortable, like if she feels uncomfortable doing sumthing let her know that you dont mind and you would never think of forcing her, she will gain alot of respect for you over time and shell realise that theres no pressure. This will make her feel more comfortable around you and shell be able to open her barriers a little because she realises that she doesnt have to prove anything to you and you can both take the relationship at your own pace.

As time go's by things will get much better and youll learn to trust eachother more and more, therefore you can explore newer things.

Well, first off, how long have you guys been together? I'm a pretty shy person myself (especially when dealing with people I like). If she's not really apt to being open with you or your friends (whatever the case may be), there's not a whole lot you can do to get her to loosen up. If you say anything to her about her quietness it could possibly just make her feel more awkward. My advice is to just give it time. She'll open up more when she gets more comfortable in the relationship.

I'm a shy person and can be very shy around men. The thing that works for em is getting me to talk and making me laugh once she gets to know you she will be more confident around you,plus you probably wont be able to shut her up, my mates cant shut me up but once I meet someone new I@m backto the shy girl.

just let her know you enjoy her company, that should relax her, maybe she's insecure
