im gonna be honest ..........they are both scum!!!

if your mate can do that to you and just say its the way i feel he is no mate.

if she thinks you just want a shag she doesnt think highly of you aswell

what i would do is just walk away

Hi, I was in a similar situation but my best mate flirting with her and apologised the next day then laid off. Since yours isn't as keen to do that, then you could try talking to him and put a serious look on your face when you talk to him. Say something like "Listen, I'm really desperate now, please lay off [her name here], coz I really like her and its hurting seeing her with you" or something similar.
What you shouldn't do is stop talking to them and ignore them. If talking to your mate doesn't work, then sorry but I don't know what else you could resort to. But try finding out to be sure if she likes you, not by asking her but by asking her mate. Coz it turned out this girl I liked for ages, who I still like infact, didn't like me. (I thought she did from what I had heard).

By the way, I'm not an expert, that is just what I think you should do and its quite a tricky thing to answer, so whoever replies next, please put something like "I agree" or "I disagree", I don't want to end up giving out bad advice. Good luck.

Hehe-"i agree"! no that is pretty good advice. What you really do need to take into account here is how long uve known ur best mate for and how long uve both known this girl for. From what i can gather uve known ur best mate for a lot longer so its HIM who you need to chat to and sort everything out with. To be honest this girl doesnt sound like shes worth having two guys fight over her! These are the drawbacks when you only "see" someone I guess. Every single person I know who have really liked someone but they were only "seeing" them have ended up in this kind of situation.

But I do think it was a bit out of order doing it while you were there. She must've known how you felt, a litle at least.

Did your best mate know you liked her? If he did then forget them both, you deserve a much better girl and best mate!

I think you've done the right thing.
If they like each other then its not really fair to stand in the way I guess, and not talking to them won't change how they feel, itll just mean you're without a best mate.

So, hold you're head up high becoz you're a nice guy, do fantabulously in your exams, then go out looking for the next one!

To be fair you are to blame as well, you told her you wanted to see her
but neither of us really wanted to get into a relationship, so we agreed we were just "seeing"

So at the end of the day your best mate and the girl you were seeing have done nothing wrong.

Not worth losing a friend over a girl anyway.

Next time you met a girl you like ask her out right away and don't wait!....At least i can learn from your mistake

    Cheers mate <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

Don't want to sound like your Mum but you're only 16 so I guess she's around your age? Seeing people just for sex at your age seems a bit mad to me. In fact, a bit mad at any age. Maybe you don't need girls like that around you anyway. As you were only seeing her your mate probably thought the doors were open to anyone. I doubt either of them meant to hurt you, but you're hanging out with a funny crowd.
