i was wondering do any of you know the incubation period for mumps?

    im not sure what the period is, but i know that we've had posters go up all around college last week warning that the county has a mumps outbreak :(

    14 to 21 days, give or take a few either side.

    alot of my year never had the MMR Jab... it hadnt been developed, so we had the single jabs instead.

    the MMR was introduced in 1988. so anyone born from the latter end of 1985 onwards should really have had it. even if they didn't, single vaccines are just as effective. the trouble is, when parents get mental about vaccinations, they can give their child none, and that's where the problem starts.

    i agree, it does cause problems.
    single vaccines are just as effective

    i hope they are because thats what i had!
