inspired by the thread bout the worst album covers, i've decided to start one about the best. which cover in you opinion is the best?

i nominate the cover of tool's "lateralus" album, created by the artist alex grey. if you like this, check out some of his other work at www.alexgrey.com its fucking mindblowing :D

but anyways, name them covers people!

    I really like The Deftones cover for their self-titled album. It's just really...opposing, what with the the colourful roses in the background, and the black and white skull in the foreground.

    Being a fan of Magritte it's definitely the Funeral For a Friend cd, even though I am not a great fan, and would never invest in the cd itself.
