Funny Bump on Skin ??

Hi there, i have recently noticed a small bump of skin on the side of my back, its about 1cm long, by 0.3 wide, its the same colour as my skin, its not sore.

What is this likely to be?? Does it sound serious ??

    have you banged yourself there? if not go to your doctors and get it checked out.

    I think you should go to your GP to put your mind at rest!

    I had a bit of a skin cancer scare earlier this year but it turned out to be fine. What you describe doesn't sound like any of the descriptions of skin cancer that I've read about in the information leaflets I was given. But it's better to go to the doctors anyway.

    It might be a cyst? I have two on the side of my neck.

    Completely harmless, however yours might not be. Best to be safe and check them with a GP. :)
