I met my girlfriend on a club 18-30 holiday in Kavos, first holiday I'd had for 8 years, if I'd have known I'd meet someone like her I'd have gone much sooner! :-)

As for chat-up lines, I didn't use on with her cos I met her through her friend. But I did come up with a chat-up line once:

Guy: Excuse me, is your name Gilette?

Guy: Cos you look like the best a man can get.

Was reasonably successful considering I aint Brad Pitt!

Hey BD, what happened with all that advice we posted about that petrol station babe?? She got a b/f?? Or maybe it's the gasmask??

My own story is fairly dull m'fraid, I met my Lady through work, it was supposed to be a one night stand, but turned into an affair which turned into the 16-month relationship I'm in now. Fantastic. No cheesy lines used as I guessed she was the type who didn't like 'em, I just used honesty instead.

i've had some funny chat up lines though. this guy in a club once (my bf was in the club at the time) informed me i was a "sexy laaaaydeee" ... it was all i could do to stop cracking up there and then. i've had those persistent types that just grab you and try and FORCE you to kiss them... er i dont think so somehow, even if i thought they were even remotely attractive!

I was housesharing with a friend in Manchester, she shared a house with him and a load of mates years ago. We drove down to Bristol to see his new house. Three months later I was living in it with him! Definatley love. We were both really nervous, and said some stupid things but I was flattered that he was nervous around me. He is a big music fan and so am I, but living so far away we might never have met without my mate. I bought her a pint so I don't owe her any favours now (beer+man of my dreams=fair trade!)

i love fruit, fruit of all types and sizes. Witout fruit your body would be weak, the vitamins included are a vital part of our bieng and i think we sghould all dedicate our worthless lives to them!!!!

Don't get me wrong though vegatables are excellant too as are all the fauna of our glorious planet!

I met my boyfriend when he came to my friend's birthday party and got off with her! About six months later i met him on a bus and recognised him and we got on really well, so we started getting the bus to school together every day. One day he asked me if he could borrow some science notes he had lost (found out later he hadnt lost them at all!!) and i said i'd go over to his house with them. Once there, one thing led to another and his mum walked in on us in bed.
Her: "This doesnt look like science homework!"
Me: "Err... Biology?"

heya, im new so im hiding in threads...but i first met my boyfriend when I went round to my mate's house who was not in, but i know his bro so I was chattign to him then my boyfriend poked his head round the door and I instantly thought he was fit and gorgeous. But the thought I woudl nevr see him again so left it at that. Then sa him at a party he ignored me when I tried ot speak ot him so thought bugger that. Then at the end of the night he came up to me I don't knwo how the folowing line appeared but it went soemhting like:

I've got a good story:

I met my boyfriend through the internet, he's american and I'm irish. We started talking a year and half ago in May, we wrote many emails, eventually talked on the phone and that summer he came to visit me all the way from America. So after a year and 4 mths together I will be going over to america to spend christmas with him and his parents.
It actually works!!
And our first kiss was just like what you see in the movies !

She came to my birthday party, got rather drunk and came on to me in a big way. We started going out the following week and it lasted 2 months.
