Don't really know which topic to put this under..
the other night a girl that i live with in Halls took an overdose of Morphine. What a stupid bitch! She's on the drug for her arthritis so she had access to quite a bit.
I wasn't there when the otheres found her but she was taken to hospital and i visited her about an hour after she was taken, and she was still in the waiting room! Do the health service not care if someone has taken an overdose?!? Thankfully she is okay.
I think taking your own life is one of the most selfish things to do! I'm sooo mad at her, she had plenty of people to talk to.
Any opinions?

I think it takes a lot to try and take your own life. My uncle committed suicide a couple of weeks back and yes he has left a lot of people hurt, but I know that he must have been really desperate.
I don't think I'd have the guts to try something like that.
All I'm saying is maybe you should think about it before you judge. But this is only my opinion.
Sorry about your mate.

No man is worth your tears, and the one who is wont make you cry.
Had you asked for help prior to the attempted suicide? Im sure your GP would have referred you to a councillor or dished out some anti depressants.
My opinion on the Dome is that Labour were in a no-win situation with it. It was conceived by the Torys who after spending money hyping it up lost the election leaving Labour with two choices: pull the plug on it and look like a bunch of kill-joys with no vision or let it continue and hope for the best.

Disclaimer: My opinion and not my employers.
You've obviously never had ne experience of the mental health system then! there is no magic cure or pill and you seem to be missing the point, attempting suicide is the cry for HELP.
BTW post your views on the dome in the politics arena, ta very much and welcome to the site.
All evil needs to thrive is for good men to sit back and do nothing
