If I could've changed one thing about mankind I'd have shown the earliest civilizations and people that we are all alone in the Universe, that all we have is ourselves, this one planet, this one chance, and though nothing we do will make the slightest bit of difference to the Universe, it is still better to live by an ethical and moral code than give in to the base instincts that still haunt us.

A dreamer most certainly, but as this is a hypothetical situation, I'm allowed to dream.
In practical terms, I'd have altered the results of a few football matches and then bet heavily before kick-off.

I'd stop the dog that attacked me when i was 2 before he tried to rip my face apart.
i think he did well enough though he managed to give me 65 stitches across my face and head. And nearly kill me but dont worry me da best 17 years on
she was the love of my life and not a day goes past when i dont think about her.
i`ll regret it to my grave.
What about all the people in the world who gain their only happiness in life from the relgion they believe in. Surely depriving them from what they believe in would be an even bigger sin.
If I had the power, limit the pressure on the environment cos otherwise we will all be screwed

The earth is made of dirt and wood, and I'd be water if I could
What it lead afterwards: recieving physical and mental abuse, loosing everything I owned, breaking my ankle, getting in an insurance battle for 6 months, taking out 2 loans, running heavily into debt, being made to live out of an hotel for 4 months, making 12hr train journeys every week, being told I was clincally depressed, sick leave, being sent to a physciatrist, attending alcohol rehab, getting discharged and then entering a legal battle which is still ongoing...
heh... but I'm still here and its made me a stronger person, but it would be nice to eradicate that period from my life.. <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

J, asking what existed before the Universe began is a bit like asking what you did before you were conceived, a non-sensical question.
Now that I've thought about this a bit, there are some situations I've been in where the course of action I took resulted in me hurting other people. Though I generally believe in having regrets for things I have done over things I haven't, the advantage of retrospect is that I now know I shouldn't have.
Damn, this makes no sense. Ah well.....
