How can you mend, a broken heart??!

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I know that time is a great healer and everything, but I was just wondering what the little things you do to make yourself feel better are?? Not necessarily, a broken heart - but a bad day, or something else.

I have this thing about looking good when I feel bad. Like, I'm messed up on the inside so I put huge effort on how I look on the outside. Like, i'll pay £30 for not much of a haircut and buy new clothes and stuff like that.

Just wondered about everyone else..

Have you ever confused a dream with life?

Don't laugh, but i find a nice cup of tea and a long soak in the tub do wonders, on the subject of broken hearts i don't know mine still aint fixed!

I find that shopping (retail therapy!) or ice cream and renting a good movie helps!

Best way I find to feel better is to talk to someone, be it a freind, a relative, whoever. Even if its just a chit chat about the weather or whatever, it cheers me up no end.

Get out with your mates more often... play the field - a good ego booster -

or else just have a good old pig out lots and lots of food that always helps..

getting out and seeing your friends, watching a good video (grease, dirty dancing, top gun, friends), ice cream, listening to great music (garbage full belt usually makes me feel better!)

Exercise until you're too knackered to be upset with anything or anyone... usually works for me.
