As said above, be yourself...

A little known fact is that people only think your shy/unconfident if you act it, but if you try and come across confident even if your not people will see you as being that way and gradually you'll feel more confident in yourself.

Also stop trying so hard, you try too hard then people will pass you by, play the game, enjoy yourself and don't specifically look directly for romance, enjoy it and keep your eyes open and it will follow.

Be respectful to everyone, male and female, people have eyes which watch your every move and women pick up on kindness and peoples attitudes to people.

Be a good listener, compliment people, take more notice of things and be honest. Try to see things from other peoples perspective, not everyone is on the same wave length as you and trying to get on their wave length is a noticable skill.

Spend time and don't shrug things off because of the easy option, be polite and give that little extra...

i have ure problem apart from the fact that i never score', have the charm of a squashed frog and im so incompitent with girls i could scream. i feel im a nice guy and i could really offer a girl sumthin but they never give me a chance.

I see myself as a puny youth only a few years ago here, then I discovered the key to enhanced social skills and endless confidence. STRONG BEER. It works for me, to an extent. There you have it, become that charming lathareo once again. This secret was my legacy. Now I pass it on to you all.
