i went to the doctors today because i thought i had thrush again but the last time i went the doctor said i had an infection and put me on penicillian for 7 days i went up again today and she said again it was not thrush but a bacterial infection cause by direct contact from the back passage and im on a pill called amoxycillin 500mg dose 3 times a day for 7 days i was wondering if my infection was an std?

    i always wipe front to back but this weekend me and my bf have only had sex once and my arse never got touched but then the original infection may not have gone away. so its definatly not an std then?
