Well last night i thought i'd trim my pubic hair as i didn't like it. Well i did and shaved some of it off, still quite a bit left on though.. no way i'm going bald.

anyway now it itches like fuck... anything I can do to stop this?

i know it'll be hard but try not to scratch it. it will ease off after about a week. try bathing the area with a flannel soaked in cold water, to sooth the hot itchy feeling. cant think of anything else, sorry

a rash occurs in some people, id stick to trimming with scissors. i get a rash from shaving. And lighten the fuck up! its a rash, it happens, so fucking get over yourself and have a giggle.

Im sure TCP or vinegar or Iodine works wanders on genital things like that... Honest.

You'll find it doesn't itch so much after you've done it a few times, aparantly.

dont let this stop you shaving again. i get a rash when i shave upwards against the thingy way the hair goes...

1. shave downwards
2. dont use disposable razors, a mach 3 with a new blade is good
3. get that king of shaves silica alpha gel stuff, it moisturises your skin as you shave, use plenty.
4. moisurise after you have shaved it

follow them steps and you wont get a rash and it definatley shouldnt be itchy

i learnt the hard way and used a disposable and a shaved upwards, i got more than a fookin rash

alternativley... use immac hair removal cream/mouse/whatever... and follow the instructions carefully and wait for your rash to go before you use it, and once you have used it do not use it for another 48hours or so..

Some aftershave balm (not aftershave itself) could help. Or some moisturiser to keep the skin soft, and may help soften the hairs a bit too.
The itching will calm down in a couple of days, just try to resist scratching. If you keep it up you will find that you don't suffer from it in the future, or at least won't suffer as much.

Basicly I had a medical examination and it wasn't pretty,

I had to shave a small area where I have an infection. It's between the anus/the ball bag which I personly still concider pubic hair.

Now as someone from my school has read this page my year seem to think I shave my balls so I got a good job explaining it tomorrow.

Following information is taken from a sheet/leaflet I got given

What is it -

the cause of pilonidal disease is uncertain but it is thought to start as an ifection in a hair follicle between the buttocks. it may be prresent as an abscess or simply appear as a hole or holes (have have two holes) in between the buttocks

symptoons which MAY be present - pain discharge and bleeding


Treatment

1 - the sinus and any underlying abscess cavity are removed and the resulting cavity or hole in the underlying skin is left open. this cavity is dressed daily untill it fills in and new skin grows over. this precess may take many weeks.
