Does anyone know of any decent IRC clients for Linux? I've never bothered to use IRC while on Linux...

    I use Suse 9, it's pretty cool. I'm using xchat which is er a bit crap.. gonna configure mIRC instead.

    p.s, what sort of modem do you have? If you use a dialup on a Winmodem then you prolly won't be able to conenct to the net.

    i would reccomend X chat, it simply pwns.

    Or if you have the time, install wine and then you can run mirc via wine :)

    Have you had any problems with KDE 3 randomly freezing?

    No not yet. KDE becomes quite laggy if I'm transfering files from CD to the desktop.
