I need help...

Finding a decent place to drink in both Oxford and Birmingham. Heading towards the UK at the end of the week, staying in Oxford, just along from the central bus station, on Hythe Bridge Street. Also, will be in Birmingham for a day. The missus has auditions for drama school you see, and I need to entertain myself while she is doing them. While in brummyland, ill be near “Paradise Circus” any good pubs you can suggest? Also, is there a JD Wetherspoons in Oxford center? I need a mixed grill like you couldn’t believe, that or a curry club on Thursday!!!
