Speed dating

Hiya,

I wonder if any of you can help a friend of mine who's going speed dating (it's not me I promise - it's my idea of hell!).
She get's 3 minutes with 30 different guys and wants to think of some intelligent/witty/insightful questions to ask....can you help?

    my auntie fostered a child and she had to go to a group and one of the activities was to strike up a conversation, she came up with

    'what do you do with your toenails?'

    like when youve cut them, do you chew them? put them in a nice pile? chuck them across the room?

    apparantly everyone was like 'eugh' at first then started laughing and really getting into it

    How do you eat your creme egg?
    Then soe of Cilla Black type questions-
    Or putting an amusing light on a recent news report-

    I'd say it would be fun to do some night,
    think id find it hard to take serious though

    My friends did this and had a wicked time. It's fun as long as you don't take it too seriously - you're not going to learn a lot about someone in 3 minutes so it's best just to try and gain an impression of whether they're a nice person or not. Also, questions with short answers would be better, otherwise you'll take up the whole 3 minutes hearing their view about foxhunting or something.

    I'd ask things like who was your favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle or something similar. Yeah, I can tell I'd be a real success.

    I think questions like "how do you eat a creme egg?" and "what was your favourite kids tv programme?" are good. :)
