Whats in it? cos i know it can make you halousanate(sp) but i was just wondering what was in it to make you do so.
Has it got lsd in it or what?

    Yeh the proper stuff's got wormwood in it but that's the ingredient that's banned in most western countries or something like that.

    Czech Rep. is mean to be big on absinthe but I'm not sure if it has wormwood in it.

    Don't knock the stuff we get here though, I once won a half bottle of it when I was 16 and got the drunkest I've ever EVER been!

    Tim's right, absinthe contains woodworm; the thing that separates our absinthe to absinthe you'd get in say the Czech Republic is the thujone content (thujone is the active ingredient in woodworm).

    I'm pretty sure that the maximum permitted within the EEC is 10mg per litre. Regardless, it's still a fucking strong drink! :D

    Is that wormwood hash, because I have heard you can make it out of that, although I have never come accross it myself. Personally I wouldnt do it, I have heard it can make you go blind, but whether thats true or not I dont know. Maybe thats just to do with the stupid level of alcohol in the stuff.

    The stuff you buy in pubs here isnt going to make anyone blind but ive heard that absinth can do that.. the proper, proper killer stuff at least. But like you say, i dont know how true it is either.

    Slightly off the topic and probably bollocks...

    Is there such a thing as vodka with cannibus extract or something in it? :eek2: I got this in my head one day and I'm not sure if I heard it somehwere or what. Is it even chemically possible?

    I've done it in the past when a mate of mine was growing. We took all the leaf, about an ounce of the stuff probably, maybe more and jammed it into a bottle of Vodka.

    I then left it for about three weeks and the Vodka turned a wierd green colour.

    I wouldnt really recomend it, the stuff tasted FOUL, it was really really horrid. It did get you completely fucked though, you'd be a twisted jibbering wreck within about half an hour.

    It was far from being high though.
