NO famous people ever come to Belfast (pretty understandable really) except for the occasional stop off before Dublin if they're a touring band! The only two celebrities I can think of who live in Belfast are the drummer from Ash and one of the Corrs (not him) who lives near a friend of my dad's.

So yeh, I've never properly met a famous person and don't expect to if I stay in Belfast.

Umm...I met someone from 911 and some people from a naff boy band group that never took off. I guess that doesn't count as fame.

Umm, the queen drove past my house. I guess I didn't actually meet her...as such.

    Okay, I'll go.

Oh WOW! I so loved them! I met Bless'd (did anyone hear of them?!) and the Microsoap cast 'cos Dad did that, and Sean Maguire. When I was on Live and Kicking I met Zoe Ball (who's lovely) and B*Witched (who I went on to develop a major crush on - puppy love! :p).
And when I was very small, Philip Schofield and Ian McShane.

jimmy saville lives down the road from my parents and i've met him loads of times. i nearly ran him over twice while i was learning to drive :/

and i've served harry kewell and his emmerdale wifey while i was working in shops in leeds. she's really polite and nice to lowly little shopsters :)

my nephew wins though - he's only 2, and he's met gwyneth paltrow, all of coldplay, all of feeder, all of starsailor, and varying other music-type celebrities. and he's been to LA. barsteward.

I've met the US Ambassador to the UK a couple of times.

I had a chat with David Milaband recently.

The ex-side kick from Midsummer Murders nearly bumped into me outside my post office.

Quite a few BBC kids presenters live in my neck of the woods, I see them quite often.
