Where's the best place to meet peole / girls when your'e not into clubbing or going down the pub every night?

Uni was a great way of meeting people, but I left almost a couple of years ago and am currently unemployed so I've got nowhere to go to meet people!

I've met previous b/f's in bars or through friends. If one of your friends has a girlfriend, get them to introduce their friends. In the summer you can hang about in parks and meet people. or you could try internet.

Go to the gym? or take up some kind of sport?

You might of seen this round town, I've noticed loads of these posters on the back of buses lately....for a club called Pursuits I think, it's for single people or couples and they organise loads of sports and activities etc. They have a website but I can't remember the url, but I'm sure you'd be able to find it on google. Or just go down the bus station and have a look hehe

Hmm, tricky one really. how about joining up for a college course or something? Just take something you're interested in and make friends there first and work from there?

Wherever your interests take you- I know people whove met girls at football matches, on long train journeys, even in supermarket queues. If youre not looking they tend to come and find you in the most unexpected places.

If youre on the net a lot thats not such a bad pulling ground either, until you discover teh girl you like the look of lives in Bulgaria or somewhere *sigh*

go out with your friends, make a point of having a get together, even if its just dinner or bowling or something, get them to invite their friends, there you go meeting new people and then they have friends....

you could always get someone to set you up with a friend of theirs! just make a point of socialising and itll come easily!:)
