A really good hair treatment ??

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Hey can anyone recommend a really good hair treatment/mask etc that will do a hell of a lot of good to fairly dead and dry hair ? My hair is quite damaged from the hair dryer and straightners.
Any suggestions ? Thanks!

You get those hair mask sachies (sp) in superdrugs that you could try out but perhaps you could ask your hairdresser to recomend something that would work well for your hair.

I have a frizz ease one that comes in a big tub, think it's called Miracle Recovery or soemthing. There's also a good Aussie one called 5 minute miracle. Like *lil~miss* said try one of the sachets you can get in Boots etc

Wella do excellent ones. Both for the scalp and for the hair, for all sorts of types. It's only sold at special salons though. But they're worth it.

you wanna grab yourself deep fuel extreme treatment by redken. tis rather expensive, but worth every penny.
we use them at work when someone has exactly what you said.
its a protein treatment and your hair is made out of... you guessed it. it'll put the moisture back.

alternatively you could use something like aussie miracle moist shampoo.

word of advice from the hairdressers, dont use a cheap treatment, it has loads of silicone in and wont do any good other than make your hair all matted and lank.

you should also look into buying a serum or oil for your hair that you can put on before you use the hairdryer and straightners because that will prevent it from any further damage.

also makes it silky smooth and shiney, serum sprays are good, some serums can make you look greasy but sprays are light :D

The best one I've found is the Aussie Three minute miracle, its fab for really dry hair, but would recommend treating yourself to a hairdressers treatment every once in a while.
