Hmm something that has always puzzled me with people... is how they bully people for being ginger... and the whole ginger pubes thing....

Well i was just wondering peoples views are here... on what they think of redheads or why they think people make jokes about it...

I personally i find most (not all <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">) redhead girls sexy, i dont claim to find ginger pubes a turn on... im indifferent to it, it neither turns me on or off... pubes are pubes <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

Oh one thing though, ive never found it sexy in guys, although i wouldnt not go out with a guy just because he had ginger hair, its just i dont find it especially sexy...

Clandestine, you have completely miss understood me... I am in no way a shallow person, but like with many things in life there are turn ons and turn offs, and thats all i was interested in.

I have never ever gone out with someone on the basis of how they look, that really is the truth, i am normally the one in the conversation with people that says "yeah but what about her personality".

I just wanted to make that clear, i dont want to know whether you would want to go out with someone on the basis of their eye colour, hair colour, skin colour i just want to know if its a turn on turn off.

Well, I am a redhead (ginger, or whatever you like to call it) and in my experience people (usually children) take the piss because we're slightly different. Or should I say, try to take the piss.
On the other hand, men tend to love ladies with long red hair so Ha! <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">
As for the whole pubes thing, I don't think they're any less attractive for being red. I mean, if someone likes red hair, they're gonna like red hair! (If you know what I mean <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">)

Malachi, apologies if my previous post seemed to be aimed at you personally. i was simply commenting on the shallowness of judging a potential partner on the basis of hair colour.

I would suppose that most guys and girls would be attracted to the overall appearance first (face, body, etc.) and then once attracted would hopefully strengthen the relationship on the basis of personality and character.

But for all those redheads out there who need some moral support just remember the old saying: "Red in the head, Fire in the bed" hehe.

You wanted to know about ginger men, well, I have a friend who once hooked up with a ginger man, and she was all set to go down on him, but when she got there she just couldn't do it because of his ginger pubes <IMG SRC="tongue.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> . Not that I'm condoning this in anyway & the poor guy must've felt terrible but I can't help thinking "well what the hell did she expect?"

leese - would it make you feel any better if I said that I am prone to excema & therefore must work very hard at keeping a half way decent complexion (that then only burns at the first sniff of sun)?

my girlfriend's got gorgeous strawberry hair. it looks great, it catches the light and she catches my heart and imagination too. There's nothing sexier. Especially when she's in one of her moody poses. Hands on hips! She drives me crackers <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

As for pubic hair, colour doesnt bother me atall, you like it for the person it belongs too, not for the colour. or maybe thats just me? I do seem to prefer straight pubic hair to curly though, more fun to stroke!

Why do people have to call red heads ginger? have you ever seen a ginger route? its goldy brown, not orange or red. it sounds offensive and i dont like it. Red heads are special. i think people tend to not like ginger haired people because they stand out. therefore, if someone goes out with someone with ginger hair they think they are going to get laughed at etc. This is mainly the case in high school etc. As people grow up they realise that hair colour isn't everything and that they're just like everyone else. (hope i haven't offened anyone, i'm just trying to be realistic)

A mate of mine learnt this not so long ago. She used to take the piss out of ginger haired people big time. The rest of us were ashamed to be around her when she made fun of people because we didn't understand what she had against them. One day we confronted her and she didn't have an answer at all. A few months later she started seeing a lad who had blondish coloured hair. When his routes started to come through she realised that he was infact ginger but didn't split up with him because she'd got to know him. It just goes to show that you shouldn't judge someone just because of how they look.
