BEST
- On August 14th, after months of agony, finally finding out I hadn't failed to get into uni.
- The night of friday 4th july, out in london with my mates having been to our official school leaving ceremony... we were now free after 14 years!
- The day Rangers sealed the SPL title with a 6-0 win over dunfermline, and those two minutes when waiting for Celtic's result to come through to make sure we had clinched it. An amazing day.
- My 18th birthday weekend. Everything went perfectly, and I managed to stretch it to 40 hours! (It was even sunny for the first time in 18 years!)
- That moment I sat down in that seat overlooking the Guma lagoon, cold beer in hand, looking at the birds over the tranquil waters, listening to U2 - Beautiful Day...
WORST
- That week in February i buggered up a potential relationship, a friend's daughter died, and my work was going down the pan. That month has never been kind to me.
- My parents finding one of my old websites... and the personal info i'd forgotten to take off it. God knows how many of my hidden secrets they know... fucking Google.
- Mina and Tom (two of my cats) going missing and never returning.
- The week my mind went AWOL in November, and the various drunken antics associated with it. Never again.
- The A-Level period. Never want to go through that again.

2) Uni thang - academic side. I know it sounds odd, but god it was nice to engage my brain again.
3) Driving - learning to do so, and enjoying just about every minute of it.
4) Moving in with Mum. Getting away from Dad was the best thing I've done in a long time, I went from oozing stress to watching it waft away.
5) Moving into the new house. It's absolutely lovely in so many ways, totally perfect.
1) Moving away from Dad. It hurt him so much, and it's pushed us a long way apart, and it makes me feel guilty sometimes.
2) Failing both my theory and practical tests first time around. Very demoralising for someone who's never failed any test in his life.
3) Moving away from Zurich. I love this place too much.
4) Dad losing it one night and ending up wandering around drunk at 9am up a mountain. Lost all respect for him.
5) Discovering I can't be trusted with more than a fiver. Money seems to be sucked down the drain when I'm around.

4. finding out that the problems with my stomach was nothing more than ibs, had to be checked for somthing more sinister because of family history. phew!

1. being diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy, a potentially blinding disese in february that im still being treated for!:(

4. being told that i might not pass my first year of my course due to resons relating to number 1

1. Passing my driving test first time and then going to see Spirited Away in the cinema - put me in the best mood ever!
2. Finding myself trying to stop gypos from stealing my boots in a shower block at 2am on the Atlantic coast of Ireland.
3. Quitting my shitty job in a mini market.
4. Finding out one of my friends used to fancy me (she's a girl btw)

1. My dad's sorry decline into alcoholism.
2. Getting beaten up over the summer.

Finding out a very good friend was everything what everyone had warned me about, the reality sinking in of how wrong I was about him. The hurt and pain then anger he caused.
