True, the people will still have to go through the long process of rebuilding Iraq, but first of all the threat of Saddam regaining the power is gone.
Secondly it's the whole symbol of justice. To see him being confronted with the inhumane acts he has commited won't bring the dead back, but it's a tiny bit of satisfaction.
