So what are everyone's thoughts on the draw.
The Draw
I keep looking in Scotlands group looking for the easy game and it's just hit me. We are the easy game.
Honestly can't see us donning our kilts and funny see-you-jimmy hats and heading for the Fatherland.

Lets hope they don't find themselves in the wrong areas
 Lets hope Old Trafford is the next terrorist target
Who are you supporting in the European and World Cup Godscop?
They're a little country on the border of Russia. As with all these USSR breakaway countries you never can tell.
Got to agree with you that you should walk your group. Only wish we was in the group as well and it could have been the home nations all over again.
I hope the United players who are playing will have a good tournament and stay injury free.
I'll be supporting whoever I put money on as these competitions are a great way of making a bit more cash.
I don't want to be associated with the small time racist twats. Its one of many reasons I don't support ingerlund.
Yet you support Man Utd
Care to elaborate on that?
Uniteds support has always crossed both racial and religious boundaries, in my years of following United I've never heard or seen any racist abuse from our own fans.
Your a Rangers or Celtic fan If I remember right? Perhaps you should be carefull when bringing other clubs records on this matter into doubt.
Why do you persist in telling us this?
We won't support you, no matter who you play
I'm proud to be British and proud to be English.
Why don't you support England?? Is it because your not so proud to be British because your one of the minority countries who are sh*te at everything?? Just wondering
There are small time racists twats everywhere, anyone that associates them with you is stereotyping.
Best not support anything or anyone just to be on the safe side!
They're all cockneys or sad ****s from Yorkshire, Blackpool etc etc
Fuck them all.
I don't think it is free of it, I don't see it among our support.
Manchester is a forward city, Leeds is a dirty backwater everyones ashamed of.
I don't know any songs that Man U sing and for that case any words but I'm sure some of the other teams fans will be able to vouch for racism or similar coming from the Red end.
An awful lot of Man U fans seem to find themselves in the latter position, and one possible explanation for this would be that perhaps they feel that they're the biggest football team in the land, hell in the world, and thus no other team in England or elsewhere has the right to take the limelight from them. Not even the National Side during a World Cup. Not even Brazil as they lift the trophy.
Presumably the same people stop watching the Champions League or even taking a passing interest in the results after United gets kicked out in the QF or SF. If United ain't playing the tournament ceases to exist...
And godscop, that a number of idiots who make it to the ground (who are a minority anyway) chooses to boo United players when they play for England does not prevent any United fan from getting behind England. I suspect that is just used as an excuse.
That stuff doesn't happen at United games, a red is a red. I know you find it hard to believe but thats the way it is, hasn't changed in 40 years.
Why do we need an excuse, its not like we hide it.
You'll never understand, your from Madrid a 'real' city, you come here and live in London which is full of ****s and probably very similar considering their respective history. If you actually bothered to move out of the M25 you would find it very different. Bigger citys like Manchester and Liverpool do not have a large England following. Places like Leeds and Newcastle are really the same, of course they need England for some hope of success.
So your trying to tell me that during the whole match including the pre buildup and the warm down there is absolutely no hatred directed towards to other set of fans? I find that very hard to believe. Do all the Man U supporters ask the opposing fans how there week went? Going anywhere nice this year for their hols? Comment on how much younger they look with the new haircut?
No. Infact what they do is shout and sing along the lines of and I quote
Remember racism takes many forms. Just cause you ain't calling someone a "paki" or a "******" doesn't mean you ain't being racist.
What has this got to do with opposing fans, we're talking about racism, you know prejudice based on colour, religion.
Are you suggesting we are like the burberry ingerlund wankers because of the shit the scousers get? Do you have a clue what these lot are like? I think not.
We were actually talking about what everyone thought on the World Cup 2006 qualifying draw tbh
I was just trying to say that all sets of fans have levels of abuse and hatred that is directed towards the other set. Some of it is bound to be racist. Granted some sets of fans have greater levels of racism (Rangers & Celtic being a great example) but I find it impossible to believe that Man U fans are exempt from the racist name calling. Or maybe you just don't hear it in the family end?
Indeed we were and not the rose tinted views of my red friend.
And in honour of that can I say that I agree with your assessment of which is the "easy" game in Scotland's group... and note that at least you won't have to go through the "second round" jibes which you would have got, had you qualified
However, I agree with Godscop's assessment of the likely chants at the Ireland game, "no surrender" will be a favourite of a loud minority.
Well look at it this way, United have never had a group of supporters who were affiliated with nazis, all them weirdos always supported city.
I don't know what your talking about
Dude, I agree that there has been little (or no) proven connection between any United fanbase and Nazi groups, but sadly we have are own share of morons. A very small minority for sure, but we should never deny their existence...
Funnily enough, from my experience, United fans are more likely to be associated with Socialist groups...
By the tone of that remark, it looks like you are bothered.
Ninja, it's not a minority that sing about fenian blood every week, it's tens of thousands. It's not just about the fans either, I don't think any other club has made as much money from hatred and bigotry as Rangers have. Look at the orange replica shirts, all the claptrap that goes with it.
Not saying we don't have muppets, of course we do. But the sooner the we get rid of the myth that the only disgusting part of Rangers FC is a minority of the clubs fans, the better.
I am sure there are people with those views who also support United, but they're a silent minority.
Your right about the Socialist thing, however I think Manchester in general is Socialist.
Just hope the return leg isn't in your town.
