My last phone call to them. I don't think the women could speak English.

Any way, my point is that their shite! It's not the first time I've had someone who can't speak English that has kept me waiting for one number. Has anyone else had a poor service from them?

I think they hire the people who cant speak english so they keep you on the phone longer and charge you more.

And the reason they cant speak english is cos its all based in Indiea(sp)

I insist on ringing BT/O2 enquiries:
1.They speak English
2.They have ALWAYS found the number since the change
3.They've never kept me waiting longer than about 15 seconds.

yes, i know they are more expensive, but they are the only ones to be doing any good.
I hope all the other stinking foreign call centres get knocked down.

Even easier option is to use the web. Both BT and Yellow Pages have on-line search facilities.

yea they are based in a devleoping country like the philippines, well they say its where ppl get put thru to if the call centre in the Uk is too busy; but im not sure, i wudnt call my expert on 118 118 !

call centres abroad are soooo annyoing! i called BT internet helpline and got through to an indian woman who couldnt understand my name nevermind the actual problem. i put the phone down on her because it was 50p per minute from my mobile! so i called back again and an english bloke answered. he didnt even want to know my details-just told me straight away what the problem was.

Yes, but they're what allows you to have cheap internet in the first place.

Why is it so hard for some people to have a basic understanding of business practice.
