but i know you can take the pill continuosly for three months, can you take it for any longer? i really hate having my period

i wouldnt advise it. cnat be good for you to have all that stuff up you for that long.

In all honesty, I don't think any woman actually enjoys periods but taking endless packs of pills back to back isn't the way to deal with this. You can't do that forever, and the havoc it could play with your body really isn't worth it. Think about how to deal with having your periods instead. If you get really bad period pains, a change in diet may help. If you get moody, try supplements such as Evening Primrose Oil or Starflower Oil. Go and talk to your GP about your periods and deal with it that way rather than being so drastic - remember that it's a natural part of a woman's life to have periods.

would the contraceptive injection stop my periods? i really hate having them, the blood and the mess, its jus eugh and a pain in the arse

it does for a lot of women, but also it has dodgy side effects in a few people, and you can't stop the side effects until the injection wears off (at least 8 weeks).

no one likes having periods. it's just one of those things you have to deal with.

what are the side affects kaff? i think it would be cool to switch, im always forgetting my pill or gettn the days mixed up. but when im on i really feel like i cant go out or do anything

it affects different people in different ways.

i had two housemates who tried it.

one got migraines and threw up a lot.

the other one put on a lot of weight and got quite bad acne and mood swings.

hmmm dont think ill go for it

before i went on the pill, my periods were so heavy, lasted about 8-9 days and id usualy pass out on the first heavy days
now on the pill the periods are better, but i still hate having them

I mean ok they aren't the nicest of things to have but most people have them. You just deal with them as best you can.

you should never do it without talking to your doctor about it though.

it's ok to occasionally run a couple of packs together without talking to them, but if you're intending to do this long-term, you should get proper medical advice.

Its not a good idea to take it more than twice continuously, cos it can fuck u up basically lol. Talk to your doccie about it, plus its with any pil

thing is, im in england atm, and wont be near my doc till mid january, im on my third pack of pills continuously, this is the second time in a row ive done this, would it really hurt if i took one more pack?
