Well, I agree with all these newer artists doing the Christmas songs, but I think that the older artists, who do the Christmas songs, are quite good, but maybe that's just me.

The greatest ever Christmas song is without a doubt Fairytale of New York by Kirsty MacColl and the Pogues

But it's too over played. And he sound like he's recovering from a stroke or summat.

Hehe, this reminded me of one of cosmopolitan's tips for a christmas present for your bloke...

perform a striptease to his favourite christmas song

not sure they ever make them good enough for that... do they?

Ella Fitzgerald singing "Let it Snow"... ooh, it sends a shiver down my spine!

Of course, that doesn't make "Fairytale of New York" (Kirsty McColl and the Pogues) any less of a classic! :D

    Agreed.

Although, I like The Darkness christmas song, I reckon it'll be a classic in a couple of years...it's got the classic style: Bells in the background, kids singing at the end... :D

I wish they would stop making them alltogether. And while at it, destroy all the old Christmas songs. I'm already sick to death of hearing the bloody things!
