    you are most fertile when you ovulate halfway through your menstrual cycle, but its perfectly possible to get pregnant at any time of the cycle. the least likely times are during your period, immediately before and immediately after. although it is possible to get pregnant during your period, its just not as likely

    I take it that you are asking about 'natural family planning' - it is only for people who are very responsible and organised!!

    If you are trying to get pregnant, as said above, the middle of the cycle is the best time to have sex.
