Boring more than anything else :yeees:

Ups - i'm out of school and into college, slowly making one or two new friends

Downs - Me and my old school friends haven't bothered to keep in touch, i'm very shy and i'm still finding it hard to talk to people at college. Plus add to that guy trouble, fantastic.

I'm bored now, can you tell?

Not too bad at the mo, but not ideal. I'm living in France as an English assistant in a school for my year abroad from uni and it's a bit boring.

UPS

Feel pretty good about myself at the minute

Living abroad on my own, and coping well

Generally happy

I'm in a beautiful town, in a beautiful area

DOWNS

Miss uni and all my mates there

I live on my own and it can get very boring at times

Impossible to meet people outside school so no real social life

Quite boring really.

Downsides include my work ethic...I started the year meaning to work really hard, and I've failed to do so and the fact that I've still not got a hope in hell of having any kind of relationship.

On a more positive note, I'm sorting out academic related things, and I'm alive.

Social life is alright, I go to the pub and have some good banter.

But yeah, it's ticking over. I've got a warm and comfortable place to live and pretty inoffensive (as yet) housemates, so I shouldn't complain, really.

feeling pretty great at the moment, haven't smoked for 4 weeks (or is it three?) - Thank you Allen Carr.

Have just got contact lenses and people keep saying things like 'wow - I can see your eyes, they're lovely' and 'Don't you look good'

Plus I feel christmassy.

The only thing getting me down is the fact that my best mate in work lost her job and so Lunchtimes will be weird.

hmm describe my life. well to be honest, its fucking shit! the only good thing that's happened to me recently is that i got a new job BUT its only for the xmas period and the pay is shit. my head is completely fucked up still, from the slight problem of sleeping with my best friend last week. she says its ok, but i feel really guilty and it shouldn't of happened. i'm fucking skint, i'm snowed under with coursework for my a-levels, i'm constantly fucking tired, i can't find a girlfriend, all my friends have the mumps and have been quarantined by their parents and the icing on the cake is that i've just finished off my bottle of jack daniels. fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck :mad:

Pretty shit seems to be the trend so far, and who am I to try and change that?

Ups so far:
I'm having a great time at college,
My friends are so great,
I can't complain about anything in that area.

Downside:
Some people I thought I knew turned out to be complete arseholes,
I have a lot going on in my head that I need to sort out, with no forseeable way to sort out,
I'm not grateful enough for what I do have,
I've hit some kind of general depression stage in my life that doesn't seem like it's going to go away ever.

I guess things aren't as bad as they seem, but there are some things I need to do to see the whole picture.
