Awww why you crying, it can't be that bad. Just get it up the best you can and face the music when she comes home. Likely you'll get scolded and sent to your room, but it's not the end of the world. Or ya could just drag a rug over it. ;)

Hope the mags don't suck up the nail polish remover otherwise the mags will get stuck to the carpet aswell.

If you`ve got as much off as you can with the nail varnish remover then you really need to get some carpet/upholstery shampoo on it if you can, preferably before it all dries.

And I think you`ll just have to own up. She might be mad but she will get over it. You`ll just have to sit it out.

    Good luck.

You're not obliged to have contents insurance, so no.

Either way, it's not like "ooo I will just pop and get a new one on the insurance". :|

Anyhooo. Try stuff like lemon and milk.

I don't know but call me crazy if I say that everyone should have home insurance. Costs about £15-ish a month.

But I can't afford £15 a month. Fine. Don't come crying to me when your roof falls in and you've got to fork out £5000 for repairs.

    it was an accident, right?

don't worry about it, the sooner you tell her, the sooner she can sort it

    Correct.

I remember when I literally ruined my Mams living room carpet because I spilt Lucozade, and it left a huge-ass stain.

I got in so much shit.

Just another thing against having cream carperts.

Not only are they horrible, they show even the tinyest bit of dirt...let alone nail paint.

If you're gonna have horrible carpets, push the boat out and go for those really manky patterned ones that don't show dirt easily.

Hmmmm looks like the polish remover only spread it around more. We have this stuff called "spot out" in America. Or as someone else said carpet cleaner or gasoline in small amounts maybe. No smoking, heh. I'll try to come up with something else. Have you tried a google search on the net?

Dunno if this has been said... not really looked at all the replies. Try nail varnish remover and rub it over with water and then reapply nail varnish remover as necessary.?
