my village - it's got a unique smell about it (not nasty :p) i think it's from the leaves or something  and it always reminds me of my ex girlfriend for some reason.

Hehe, no I always love the smell of banananananannananana bread. That always makes me think of baking with my Dad, and me running off with the bowl to scrape, and him and I having flour fights. Ahhh..*reminices*

My bathroom-mate in halls has Matey bubble bath... quite eccentric really!

I know what you mean though... certain smells remind you of certain things. A strong smell of polish will always remind me of the big grand hall at my first school, for example.

freshly cut grass in the summer heat.

reminds me of summer holidays where there was no homework/twatty birds/jobs and all me and my mates would do is skate and have a laugh.

right thats it, i'm inventing a time machine.

If its ever been quite a warm day and its rained and stopped and its damp and there is a damp musky smell to the air - that reminds me of when I used to go fishing with my dad when I was like 7. Just like the smell of mud reminds me of the fishing banks. Weird tbh.
