hey
i was just wondering if periods can be affected by illness?
i had viral gastroenteritus a couple of months ago the same week i came on my period. i only bled really lightly for 2days and normally im very regular n heavy. i went to see my doc about the illness and also mentioned my weird period and he said im prob not pregnant. brooke also said that. i would have taken a pregnancy test at both places but it was all unnecessarily complicated.

anyway a couple of months have passed and my periods are back to normal but periods/pregnancy is an area im always paranoid about.

so back to my original question: has anyone had their periods affected by illness? ie.is this normal?

cheers.x.
