You know if you've got a mug, and the handle breaks off...
Can you still use it? Is that normal behaviour?
I've got a mug with my name on it, and the handle is now broken off. I'm really quite fond of this mug.
Is it still OK to use it?

It's Ok, it'll probably get left for months at the sink
i know what you mean bri ...i have had favourite mugs ...they get a carck or loose a handle and the wife doesn't want them in the house. they go in my workshops and continue their happy little lives.
well ...most of them do. some end up sat forever looking seriously forlorn and covered in growths.
As much as I hope he dies soon, I've just found a use for the ignore list
He's probably on day release.
Oh, definitely abnormal! You freak!
Isn't it a bit hot to hold it without a handle? :eek2:
Mr_Wobble
surely it depends what you're drinking
He makes a good point. If I put hot tea in it, I'd probably have a "Owwwwww ya bastard" burny burny hot hot moment, and it ends up on the kitchen floor.
With the mug in pieces
but if you put orange juice in it you'll go orange juice in my favourite mug
Mr_Wobble
This is very true.
Nope, it makes a difference. I drink cold drinks in glasses and hot ones in mugs. Unless I have no choice.
Mr_Wobble
I also am obsessive of things like this. :eek2:
ure a guy so your qualified to do that!!
Now, where's my special spoon! *panics* Ah there it is. Lovely spoon. Shiny spoon! *rubs spoon* :hyper:

Actually, I used to work in a couple of window factories, and we used to use superglue to stick the rubber seals together. Every now and again there'd be a spill, and I'd accidentally (honest) glue my fingers together, or to the window/door, or to the bench and/or tools. Doh! You get used to it after a while.
Mr_Wobble
I love that - oh bugger, I'm stuck to a window again...
Definitely hot drinks out of a mug, cold drinks out of a glass. It matters.
If you've got some araldyte lying around in the garage or maybe even superglue, it should work a treat.
