Why is it that people feel that doing stuff, taking naked pics and sending them, etc on cam over the net doens't coiunt as cheating if ya in a relationship with someone else?

Just a discussion I've been having with a few mates at uni. Personally I think that if ya mess on cam with someone other than ya partner then you're cheating on them, cos if it's cheating in person then surely it is on cam as well. Or is it just me being odd again?

i would consider it as bad as cheating. if he's stripping for someone and then watching her do the same and i found out i would be devastated. it doesnt matter that there wasnt any physical contact. he's still seeing another girl naked and vice versa.

Yeah I would definately say that is cheating, chatting online isn't, but if you're sending pics of yourself then what does that say?
If my g/f was sending nude pics of herself to blokes online I'd go mental!

Glad ya all agree with me. everyone at uni said the opposite...I was getting worried.

They say it's just a bit of fun in a different reality so to speak where no harm can come from it just relaxing and having a laugh.

i entirely agree, a guy was sorta like that with me, then i asked if he had a girlfriend and he said yea and i was like 'what the fuck are you doing then?' cheatings cheating. if your not touching, but still looking, in my eyes its still cheating.
id be fraking mortified if a boyfriend of mine was being like this guy was with me

I think that it counts as cheating. when i have a bf, i like the thought of him being all mine, n not sharing him (in that way) with anyone else...Showing pics of urself nekkid is basically sending someone homemade porn, meant to turn on n excite... N i dont think thats right if ur with someone.
If ur bith single then u can do what the hell u like...

I think it is wrong and I would be pissed off if my bird was showing her naked body to people but I don't know whether it could be classed as cheating, but it is still wrong.

I think that some people view cyber as a form of interactive pornography. And as pornography isn't cheating (although some people disagree), then they see taking the next step of sending photos, using webcames, etc, as ok too. I think that's going too far, and is a form of cheating. I know I wouldn't like to find a girlfriend was doing it to me.
