hi guys, does ne1 know if it is common for the doctor/hospital to call u back after a breast scan? Is this just common procedure?

    is it not maybe to talk over the results? i got a barium enema and got a letter to go back to the hospital even though i was meant to get the results from my doc. i was in a panic and thought something was wrong so i phoned he hospital and they said it was so the doc at the hospital could give me the results and see how i was doing. turns out everything was fine.
    i was in a real panic and crying and it was my mum who said call the hospital so why dont you do that?
