hi everyone, first time I've posted a message myself for aaaaaaages - so bear with me! but here goes.
my bf and I have been going out for over four months and feel (felt?) very comfortable with each other. we've never been brilliant at "talking" because we're both pretty shy, but I suppose that goes for many relationships.
anyway, we've been used to seeing each other at least once a week for a date and two or three days we've been able to meet up for ten minutes in town or wherever. now the holidays are here and it seems like the planned trips with family we've both got overlap in such a way that when I'm at home, he's away, and vice versa.
I'm worried that the few times we may actually be able to meet (about two weeks apart, there's two of them) will not be enough; that it'll break us up. I'm okay about it but I'm just not sure he'll be. I know this sounds ridiculous compared with LDRs which are much, much harder - I've been in one, but it was a couple of years ago now - but I'm just pretty anxious
so has anyone got any tips on how to keep it going until term starts?
thanks

Depends on where ur going, but u should be able to talk on the phone at least...mobiles aint cheap mind
This is amazing advice. Mobiles ARE NOT cheap. Last year I went to Paris for 4 days and when we got back my beloved Mother got a mobile bill and on it was.... a call lasting 25mins - costing £27.74!
It sounds like you two love each other. just try and see each other before holidays and between the 2 if possible. Have photos of each other. Anything you possibly can.
This year my gfs sister is getting married so we gonna see very little of each other for the 1st two weeks. We gotta week where we see each other alot. I'm then off to Florida for two weeks (cant get a mobile to work cos they all tri-band). After that we got two weeks which we intend to spend together all the time, every day.
ohh depressed now
*wonders how useful that post actually was*
Those are models legs, but are they womans or are they mens?
mobiles are terribly expensive so we'll have to survive on texting and letters, phone calls if we're feeling rich!
I feel better about it now. cheers guys! but feel free to keep posting ppl

abscence makes the heart grow fonder.
There's a girl in my mirror
I wonder who she is
Sometimes I think I know her
Sometimes I really wish I did
so I'm going to talk to him myself and hopefully we'll both put in as much effort as necessary and we'll be together for a long while yet yay!
