whats everyones longest relationships and how did they get together.
i can honestly say i've never had a long relationship and we're talking 2/3 weeks max.

    16 months and we met on the internet. ive written about this god knows how many times before and i dont really want to talk about it again right now!! and thats the first relationship i was in, so far my current one is at 2 weeks today <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

    My one and only relationship lasted a grand total of a month - by which I mean about 3 weeks - so you're not alone there. Grrrrr I'm all bitter now!

    just over 14 mths.
    got together at a club which was celebrating christmas.
    still going strong.

    i've only ever had one relationship - 11 months and counting!

    We met in the school orchestra...

    And to think I nearly gave up the violin when I left the juniors!!

    My longest was my marriage...and that was only a year. I'd say most last for 4-6 weeks. I'm older than most here (27), so this is probably unusual, but there's nothing wrong with it.

    I'm the type who doesn't like to commit to things unless I'm completely sure, and I get bored easily. Relationships are a lot of work, and I guess I don't like being in one that I know won't last forever, or continue to grow.

    I don't think that the length of relationships means much. Maybe it sounds like I don't have much experience, that nobody is interested in me, or that I'm difficult to get along with.

    I just see myself as someone with high standards who won't waste time and energy until someone really special comes along. When that happens, I hope that it will last forever.

    For me maybe 6months at the most! But my friend Sweetkiss(ex-member) shes been with her boyfriend for....1yr 3months so far! They met....through me,cause for a while i was with her boyfriend but i knew they liked each other so i gave up and gave them too each other and since that they've been together! She moved down too Cambridge to be with him though, so i dont see her that much, only talk too her now and again! If anyone remembers her and wants to e-mail her just let me know and ill give you her address!

    I agree.Its the strength.OK I know that to last a long time it must have been a strong thing but there are some who constantly drag it on and on just for the sake of having someone.But people who are in the relationship know best whether its strong or not,despite the length.
    The outsiders wont know what their relationship is like.It can be a strong one but it can be short.
    Its possible to have a long and stupid weak one.
    I had a one month relationship and comparing it with my friend's longer one mine was stronger-her's-it was daft,they never spoke,never saw each other.They only pashed with each other only when they felt they had to when in friends company.
    Anyway,thats all I had to say.

    Current one, almost 6 months.
    Met on a bus, big coincidence, because I was in town. We went to a club but my mate got kicked out and I went with him. So i got the bus home and my friend and her friend got on. I started talking to her friend Lx and we hit it off.
    2 weeks later we were together. That was 6 months ago!
    So for al those who dont believe, there is such a thing as fate, or massive coincidence.

    the longest relationship i was in was 4/5 months, and that was my most current relationship.
    we met in a carpark, him and his friends was parked there and my friend wanted to go with one of the drivers...so i was stuck with the passenger. happy enough...

    we went to the park and it was such a clear nite u can see all the stars...it was a real good nite...

    but now...we're not even speaking...unbelievable huh??

    My last relationship woz my longest - 5 months. B4 that they were all 2/3 weeks! We met at this place called Cav Court where i always hang out every summer (its just across the river from the Reading Festival site!) but i've never seen him there b4. Started goin out wit his mate 1st but that only lasted about 2 weeks then dumped his mate & he asked me out! Been in my current relationship for just over a month!

    My longest is 4 years, we met through a shit stirring mate, we went out together just for something to do before he went into the royal marines, 5 months later we were engaged, 18 months later we were living together, 8 months ago i left him for my present boyf. I'm not proud of that, but i had my reasons, and we now get on much better.

    Kinda, i was on the rebound, and he was going to leave for the marines, and we were just looking for a bit of fun.

    I mean, my longest boyfriend before him was 2 months!!!! How was i to know we'd end up engaged with a mortgage!!!! It wasn't all bad and i would do it again...but just differently.

    My longest relationship is with my current b/f which has been 13 months and 1 day! He is my first proper b/f and he is wonderful,(im probably just biased though!!)

    As another point, this maybe a bit personal but how long have most people been with a b/f or g/f before sleeping together?
    I was with my b/f for 3 months before hand. Looking back now I probably would have waited but I don't regret it( apart from the part when my mum found out!!!!) Can win everything!
