I went to this last night and it was fantastic, really really funny, excellent singing, truely one of the best bits of theatre I've ever seen.
"This is my Jerry Springer moment, Oh I hope it will last, cover me in chocolate and throw me to the lesbiens."
The high light has to be seeing a serious operatic singers blasting out such lines as;
"Shes a crack-whore, oh yes!"
I highly recomend that everyone go to this. 11/10.

You did intrigue me though, because when I first heard about it I dismissed it as a farce. But I suppose if it's done well it would be a good way of bringing opera to the attention of the masses.
