yeah, i love watching war stories from youtube video's, with sad music pouring in the background of said videos. it's weird but a tear jerker.
i have them all over my tiktok!! i cry at them too
@eylah war related ones?
And probably not. I have to be up at like 6 tomorrow to get my brothers school trip money before his bus arrives. So i can't risk oversleeping
i have to be up at 7 bc i have a meeting i have to leave for at 8 so i am like what’s point in sleeping lol. i’ll sleep afterwards.
@eylah have you had plenty to drink and eat today?
@eylah the duck is happy to hear that and so am I. The caffeine in it will keep you going for as long as you need
bless you! i gone rly dizzy now and my head hurts lol
@eylah preaching to the choir that is. That's like 90% of humanity. And once i've done that and my brother is at school tomorrow, i'm not even able to sleep cause i'm going out to watch 28 years later. Already got it booked in so no cancelling
@eylah make sure your sitting down if your dizzy. You don't want to fall or anything. You mentioned you got lidl chocolate ice cream before?
what’s 28 years later?
i ate it all. 🤣 but i have a ice lolly rn
fab's are the best ice lollies. Then twisters, then these which they stopped doing years ago:
it's a zombie film. They used a Rudyard Kipling poem in the trailer, which was written after the Boer war, and recorded in WW1. The same haunting recording of it from 1915. So i kind of have to watch it now 😂😂 That is a real haunting and emotional recording. More so than anything i've ever seen before, if you've never heard it.
oh that’s interesting! is it in cinema?
@eylah it 100% beats nothing i suppose
@eylah yeah. It's out now in cinema and i'm going tomorrow to watch it. Genuinely scary trailer. And the poem being recited actually made me cry the first time i ever heard it, when somebody put it over a short clip of all quite on the western front. Really sad. I can link it if you want but it's a tear jerker and haunting.
i just looked it up and it looks rly interesting!!
@eylah nothing wrong with being scared. being scared just means we're human. I'm here to keep you company even if it's only virtually on a screen
thankyou so much
