We have some exciting news to share about The Mix!

We have partnered on the launch of Here4You, a groundbreaking film presented by Roman Kemp to help young people.

For the first time ever, Here4You brought together six leading mental health charities which support young people, to tackle the UK’s youth mental health crisis: The Mix, Shout, YoungMinds, Place2Be, Joe’s Buddy Line and Mind.

Aimed at 11-14-year-olds, the short film fronted by Roman, features celebrities including footballer Harry Kane, actor Lenny Rush, Dr. Ranj and Dr. Punam Krishan, as well as a candid chat and special performance from singer-songwriter Tom Grennan.

The film also includes young people sharing their experiences of anxiety and depression and gives practical tips and advice on improving emotional wellbeing and signposts the help and support available, so no young person feels alone with their mental health.

Secondary schools throughout the country have been invited to watch the film from 8.30am on 25th January 2024, in a broadcast event aimed at improving young people’s wellbeing and meeting mental health issues head on. The film has been offered to over 4000 schools and more than 35,000 teaching professionals and will be available on YouTube and ITVX, as well as First News Education TV and Mirror.co.uk.

We'll also be hosting a movie night where you can watch the film with us! More details on how to sign up, over on our Movie Night thread.
