Whats the worst thing thats happened to your relationship with your best friend?
What is your favourite hobby to do in spare time(other than scrolling on social media)?
Who do u get along with more males or females?
1. I don't think I really had anything bad with a relationship with a friend as most of my ones have been good. But my last romantic relationship didn't go too well because I didn't have feeling for them romantically and they were more interested in the physical side of the relationship where I kind of wanted a more intellectual one really rather than physical touch, idk. But I think we ended on good terms, I know they weren't happy at first but we kind of moved on ish.
2. I think a favourite hobby of mine is either reading though my focus and adhd brain cannot literally function atm and like I'm in such a reading slump plus the amount of tbr lists I got and books too. I'm kind of on a book ban at the moment including ones from the library. However, a hobby of mine that I really love is knitting and crochet. Any type of fibre art for me is very soothing and calming. Also, the best part is because I consider myself neurodiverse so it's like stimming. But it's an added bonus because I call it productive stimming (I kind of hate not being productive sometimes I need to be something that kind of involves movement). I get free gifts out of it which I can then give to others. I'm actually kind of working on a pattern right now for themix logo.
3. Technically I tend to get along with any gender. However growing up as a kid I often used to hang around boys mostly rather than girls. I think this is because I feel like they kind of accepted me more and I was never really feminine expressing either. Also, during my creative media course I struggled a lot to socialise after a friend of mine left the course to do something they enjoyed. So I kind of struggled because I could talk easily to them as well so trying to make new friends was such a challenge. But I ended being quite friendly with a lot of boys on my course and we are all still friends to this day. Generally though I do get on with females too as well and all genders as I find now I got more confidence I feel I can tall a bit more better eventhough I am quite socially awkward at times which kind of always made me the quiet one in the group. I was always in the background sometimes I felt but I was accepted which made me feel good because a big thing for me is to be accepted by others.
1. I was in the process of questioning my sexuality and had a crush on my best friend. One day I got the courage to come out to her and tell her about my feelings for her. Turns out she let another girl from our friend group listen in (this girl had bullied me in the past). She later confessed what she did and I felt so embarrassed and betrayed.
2. Looks like @Amy22 and I have similar hobbies, that's really cool! I'm currently crocheting a sunburst granny square blanket, in a sort of 70s colour scheme. I also read quite a lot, especially when I struggle with insomnia, it helps me pass the time. I generally enjoy doing any type of art, its so relaxing especially paired with a good playlist!
3. That's quite a tricky one, I don't think I get on better with one or the other. Honestly, I'm not that good at making friends haha. The friends I have had were a mix of both, maybe a couple more females but I think that's just what was expected of me. I think the most important thing for me is someone's personality and that they're alright with me being a bit weird.
Oo I love a good 70's themed crochet blanket!. I want to make flower granny squares at some point too.
@Maria2008 crochet is kind of similar to knitting expect you have one hook. I always had crochet hooks because I would use them for loom bands and loom amigurmi tutorials I would find on youtube. I actually made a granny square once from a loom band tutorial on youtube once that was fun to do and make. Basically, you have a hook and yarn and you pass the yarn through the loops you make on the hook. It can take a while and a bit of a practice but it's quite fun once you get the hang of it!.
1) we stopped talking or seeing each other since leaving school. (Never really had a 'best' friend anyways)
2) don't really have a specific hobby that I do often (unless video games count haha). But I did once paint a couple of minifigures which I found pretty fun. Should probably get back to that again someday.
3) thats an interesting question. In person, I don't talk much with girls, I get really stressed around them haha so I get along with guys a lot more. All of my 'friends' were always just guys. But recently I've noticed I might actually get along with girls more, especially online. Obviously I'm generalising a lot, but it seems like girls are much more nicer and kinder than guys are. It's as if guys were always trying their best to be 'tough' and 'masculine', instead of just being themselves... 🤔 anyways
2. Video games? I hardly do anything
3. I don’t have enough experience with people to know who I get along with best 😂
Most boring answers ever
@JJLemon18 I think I know a bit about the painting mini figures thing, I can't remember though if I'm thinking of the Warhammer figures you can paint. As I always wanted to have a go painting them. I know that there are DnD figures you can get and paint up as well including mini fig kits online.
Ooo I had a feeling it was warhammer ones. I googled searched d and d and warhammer figures today as well. I love how small they are!. Ooo yes that would cool to see some pictures of them!. It kind of is a hobby because I guess it was something new you tried and anything new you try can be counted as a hobby well in my eyes
Same here too! Any thing miniature puts a smile on my face. I can imagine it being quite pricey and expensive too especially for the kit and paints. I know the Warhammer magazines cost a fortune as I used to collect the Disney crochet magazine and DC graphic novel's too and they would quite expensive. Only had the first issues of those because of the price.
Yeah same here too as I used to play D n D in my local hub that supports neurodiverse folk like me and we would play it and I wanted to get into miniatures but I had college and now I am working in an apprenticeship so don't really have the time. I remember asking about Warhammer RPG and DND and my friend who was the DM at the time said it was so confusing to play at times and they didn't reccomend to me as a beginner haha.
My wool crochet and knitting hobby can be quite pricey as well because the cost of wool at the moment is too pricey .
I just found this meme on google images and I thought it was quite funny XD
1. We fell out because he was angry i went offline for a while and he brought up my history into the argument (i cant go into it on the boards)
2. i like to write my own lyrics and music
3. females, im scared of men
I too find it so interesting that a certain game can bring people together (it was like me and dnd and how I met the last person I was with). People have some many cool interests and I love learning about people now and then as you may find something cool.
@Amy22 Here are some of the ones I painted:
The first ones are my first ever miniatures that I also had to glue together. I kinda rushed them and only used like 3 different colours lol so they ended up looking very robotic (which they kinda are robots, but not really... Its complicated )
But the second ones I put more effort into them and even used my own design and I'm super happy with how they turned out! They take ages to do though lol.
I really love them so so much and I wish I could have a go doing minatures one day. I really love the colours on them too also the blue coloured ones are awesome (blue is actually one of my favourite colours and so is purple). They look super intricate to paint and I imagine the brushes used were quite small detail brushes. Actually I think I like them as robots. Maybe they could be some robot warriors created by some dude who likes robots?. Idk lol xd.
Well... okay here's some very vague lore behind these characters in the warhammer universe:
Oh wow I can imagine that be quite time - consuming then . I used to have shaky hands when doing any painting too, kind of want to get back into doing that some day. Oh wow cool so like cyborgs basically. Warhammer lore does go deep I find!. It's why my friend didn't reccomend the dnd version of it as a beginner lol
Dnd is quite fun to play actually. Though I will say it can get quite complex at times. The group I was in was just two of us and like the dm so not enough players really to play it properly. Though now at the hub I go to more people go to the dnd game but it on when I work (so can't play unfortunately haha). But I would like to play again. I have been tempted to buy those resign moulds you can get online and you can make your own dice and d20's. I even saw a pattern for one too online that i could knit or crochet. I would play it again, would be cool if TheMix could do one some day!.
whats the wierdest thing youve done in public
whats the most bizzare text yove ever recieved
what do u feel most guilty about
I want to get back into it at some point but it's finding people to play with. Omg so lucky i really want dice, give me yer dice hehe!.
