In fact, it sounds like a very caring and brave thing to do to support your friend and help them to stay safe today
Do you think you could take a short time away, put down your phone and have a breather so that you don't feel so overwhelmed? Maybe watch a film or play a game with family?
You could suggest they speak to a service that is made to support people when they are in crisis. I've popped a couple of suggestions below:
