Tbf, I want coffee at anytime :joy: I would use the phrase it’s too late for coffee but you could almost say it was too early

Mate, at this point, the concept of time is foreign. :joy:

Not sleeping, I'll tell you that :joy: been trying to pass the time with a bit of minecraft but then I forgot where I lived and got bored and made cheese on toast and played minecraft again forgetting I'd got lost and got even more lost and then I ended up here, every moment of my life has resulted in me ending up here

    What about you?

Just had to explain to my mum why me wheezing my ass off at 3am in the morning is not a cry for help.

    Minecraft.
Ohhhh, the nostalgia is super strong. How's it doing these days??
I remember this time last year my friend group had a big Minecraft server going, it was with a newer group at the time who are way nicer than my old friend group and we all love each other and we all played on our Minecraft world every day building things together, it was so amazing. It's genuinely such a fond memory of mine because instead of going out (lockdown) we just chilled in our little Minecraft world living so merrily

Aww! That is such a good memory! Tell us more about this server (if your brain has the power) And how the hell did you and your friends navigate the world without getting lost?
Well for one of us it was her first time playing Minecraft so we were teaching her how to play the game and she picked it up really well and built a big house that turned into a hotel. We all lived in a village together except one of us who had his house burnt down and we still don't know who did it (or if it was lighting, which is the leading theory) so we built a huge railway bridge of over 40,000 blocks to connect our homes. I remember logging on on the days we were making the bridge and it was so fun, it was such an amazing group effort and everyone was really excited about it

Thanks for asking by the way @lovemimoon I love going off on rambles

I really want coffee but our house is creepy at night and I’ve already been downstairs once and I don’t want to go again, also I can’t be bothered

So the urge for coffee is strong but cba energy is stronger. :joy:

    I'm here for it. :joy:

Oh god I've not got many friends who I only know from the Internet but there was one guy who was so nice and he went to a boarding school in England (posh) and him and his Ukrainian friend would play Overwatch with me during school holidays, they were so nice and talking to them always felt special. He would ask me how it was going sometimes and its been a while, I never asked him first it was always him reaching out to me, but I wanna reach out to him and I know he'd be happy to hear from me, I've genuinely been wanting to message him for ages and I've not, not that it would take any effort to do

@Aidan squares, btw - triangles just aren’t the same. But yes baguettes are nice if I can ever write the word baguettes without it autocorrecting itself to ‘vaguest’

@aidan I feel like there's an idea that you need to be in the right mood, or mindset or be mentally prepared, because its been so long, but in reality that's silly you're just talking to someone you've spoken to loads of times before

Remembered something that was pretty cool? Built a train set? I love seeing people's faces light up every time they talk about something that sparked their interest. I'm glad you liked it :) it shockingly took us 3 days, there were days we spent all day in a video call building the bridge and talking about whatever. We go out and stuff now but we barely ever video call, I miss sitting on there like we would several times a week getting up to any old antics, it reminded me of the kind of socialisation I got at school, but just with the people I loved from school, sometimes we'd do things like sing and others we'd just kinda sit there, cause sometimes chats are just a little slower, and that's fine. I remember it was when we were all getting to know one another and it was so fun, I love them so much and I'm so thankful for them

Wanna tell me what you saw on the newspaper?
They've found fossils of an ancient rhino which is BIGGER THAN A GIRAFFE
Also I love the headlines "China may be using sea to hide its submarines" and "Diana was still alive hours before she died"
Remembered something that was pretty cool?
Wombats poo in cubes, I think they'd seen wall-e for inspo
    Built a train set?
No model trains, but model planes! Got some cheap airfix sets from home bargains, built a spitfire and a hurricane, I just love planes for some reason, I used to want to be a pilot, I've even flown a plane before!

    YOOO. YOOOOO. DAMN.

    The newspaper
A FOSSIL BIGGER THAN A GIRAFFE??? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS! WAIT.
IF IT'S BIGGER THAN A GIRAFFE THEN WTF WERE DINOSAURS THEN?? WAIT.
    NO. TELL ME EVERYTHING!

Oh no... Those headlines are amazing. "The sky was blue hours before it turned dark." Honestly blows my mind everyday. Like YO.

    Wombats
Just searched it up and that's the cutest poop I've ever seen. Is that weird??

    Plane set
That's so cool! Used to have a friend who was obsessed with all kinds of plane! How do you assemble them?? Do you have a collection? How was it like flying a plane??
    So. Many. Questions.

Omg, no worries! <3 Feel free to ramble anytime! Rambles make the best stories!

That hit my stone-cold heart in a good way. How long did that all take you??
Do you have anymore fond memories??

    Aww! <3

How has it been since? Do you still meet up with your Minecraft group?
Yeah, we're going on holiday together next month for a weekend and it's gonna be the first time I've ever done something like that, I'm really looking forward to it

Yooo! Holy shit, I hope you have fun! Where's your holiday taking place, if you don't mind me asking?
Stay safe! Take lots of pictures for us <3
The far off land of Edinburgh, we were gonna go to Manchester but a series of decisions led us to Edinburgh
