Body Image

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1 Just got here
Hi, this is my first post so I thought I'd start off with something important to me. I've struggled with body image for years, criticizing things I can't change and ignoring the things that I can. I've  faced body shaming from people I know and from strangers online. Today I'd like to say that I am done with this. I am done with feeling bad about how I look. Today, I am going to start focusing on being myself and accepting who I am. I am going to focus on becoming a better person on the inside. If anyone feels like they aren't good enough, I am here for you. Each and every one of you is special and beautiful in your own way. And if you don't believe that yet, then I am here for you every step of the way.

    Hey welcome !

so proud of you for posting this and choosing to accept who you are <3 I know how hard that can be. This can help others and you can definelty get through this. Thank you for inspiring us <3 we all deserve not only to accept ourselves but to love ourselves.
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley
