The police have duty to protect everyone's safety so that includes our safety from ourselves. They're able to track phone through like your IP address that your phone connects to

    hope youre okay <3
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley

I think it's just that everyone phone has details on it like an IP address which is just says the network it's from to be able to track the phone down to the area. But not sure And if they know other info like your name that would make quicker to find where live too

I think it depends on every situation and who contacts the police and what they knew and stuff

@ellie2000 if the police have valid reason, from some source, to suspect you are in danger yourself or a danger to others they can track you via your phone, yes. For example, if someone calls and believes you are in danger you can be tracked. Same goes for ambulance too really x
All depends on the circumstances like @Shaunie mentioned xx

    Hey,

As everyone else has mentioned, the police have a duty of care and if they receive information about someone who may be at risk then they have he responsibility to make sure that you are safe  <3

I'm sorry that you don't feel as if you are important, but you are just as important as anyone else and we all care about you here :)

How are you feeling today  <3

    Butterfly x
