Hey everyone,

It's time for another weekly challenge! This week's challenge is the goals challenge!

Set yourself one goal that you want to achieve this year and one goal that you want to achieve this week during this challenge. Have a think about what can help you achieve these goals and share them with us below :)

I hope you have fun taking part in this week's challenge.

If you're interested in getting involved in some of the fun things we have going on at The Mix such as suggesting a weekly challenge idea or writing something for the newsletter let us know over on this form.

Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

My goal for this week is to try Postive self talk during my 2 exams on Thursday that I learnt with my CAMHS worker today
Sometimes all you need is one person to believe in you , for you to begin to believe in yourself.

I got my stitches out today, its the first time in months ive been stitch free so my goal for this week is to stay stitch free :)
I think I can achieve this by using my distraction techniques and riding out my emotions, they say it takes 21 days to break a habit, so im hoping once the 21 days are up it will become easier :)

one goal I want to achieve this year is to come off one of my meds so I can start driving again :)

BY the end of This year I want to have a new job. Cause hopefully that would mean it’s because I’ve found something to do with my life.

This week I want to look into apperterships

“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley

I did look into apperencships and couldn’t find any.

And one of my other goals for this week was to get on top of all my washing which I nearly i have. I’ve done three washes so far, one for all my bed stuff, then a dark wash, then a white wash and now I just need to do another dark wash lol. My room is looking a lot more cleaner and less like I have a masssiveee pile of dirty clothes in the corner lolll

(also think you should do a photo challenge every month)

Thanks for taking part in this challenge everyone! It's so nice to hear about your goals for the year and some of the one's you set yourself last week. I hope all manage to achieve your goals - don't give up :)

I'll be posting the next weekly challenge shortly. Having a monthly photo challenge sounds like a really great idea @Shaunie - those challenge are so much fun. Perhaps we can start doing them from next month :)
