Should people live together before they get married?

Danny!Danny! modPosts: 560 The answer to life, the universe, and everything
A hundred years ago, living together before or out of marriage (cohabiting) was generally seen as sinful, and it wasn't that common. Now, it's not so surprising, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing.

Maybe it's unromantic, or shows a lack of commitment, to "try before you buy"? Or maybe it's pretty foolhardy to marry someone when you don't even know if you can live together?

Please answer the poll, and use the space below to explain and discuss your answers. No right or wrong here - it's a personal decision.
