This obviously refers to the growing row about the adoption of a Malawian baby.
On the one hand you have someone with massive wealth who is going to be able to give the child an excellent life, who has also helped raised the profile of the crisis faced by children in Third World countries, and who if I remember correctly has pledged £1.5m to help other children in Malawi.
On the other hand others are saying this is a spoilt celebrity using her fame and money to bypass local laws and adopt a child from a foreign country for self-gratification.
I personally think that what she's done is a good thing on the whole and many children, not just the one she's adopted, will benefit from it. I'd like to hear from those who disagree with this though...
