While most students turned up in person to collect their results today, a survey showed that 16 per cent of 16 to 23-year-olds in the Yorkshire and Humber region would prefer to receive them by text, compared to 19 per cent nationally.

I think it would be awful! Just sitting there waiting for your phone to buzz, and then there would be the chance it would just not be delivered as happens sometimes, or people hoaxing you etc etc I would hate it.
In a way it would take the specialness out of it for me. Theres a system now, it might be scary but I think it would be a bit of an anticlimax just to get a message... Plus there wouldnt be the group mentality in the main hall on results day with papers flying everywhere, and a chance to meet up with people again.
Plus how would the fit in all the detail about module results etc?
